Diari closed.
And what seems like just a short while, the weekdays AF2 Diari comes to an end after 3 months, on a very emotional note. I dont think I can find all the words to describe how it has been, especially the last episode. One thing I'm sure that all will remember is "MERDEKA". The word not only coincides with the coming Independence day for Malaysia, it marks also the independence of the students from the Akademi. Freedom from being confined to the Akademi. And for us on the outside, I think everyone is now "MERDEKA" from being confined to their tv sets every 12 midday & 8:30 pm every evening! I think those who are really "dah demam?" will find it hard to find things to substitute the Diari with. Ofcourse theres @15, you can still chat & probably see endless reruns of AF2 concerts, Diari & Imbasan.
I wonder how long will the "demam" last. Probably quite awhile. As once the last concert is done, the students will surely be making a lot of appearances in various occassions and ofcourse the much anticiapted concerts. Them students are gonna be jetsetters for the months to come, I'm sure ASTRO has laid out a better plan from the ones they've made for the first AF students. So you can expect to be bombarded with AF2 activities and promotions on all sorts of media. "Ka-ching" galore!
And as for this blog, I promise I'll try to keep it updated on the activities of the AF2 students. I would very much appreciate too if you readers can contribute any sort of new/gossips/happenings afterwards. Please email me any news clippings, pics or anything at all. This blog has been fun to set-up. Its a challenge for me in many ways. The best part about it though is that I made some friends through it, eventhough I have never met them personally, its been fun to interact with all. Thats the most precious things to me. This blog wasnt created with the inttention of seeking attention as some might say or try to duplicate/immitate SultanMuzaffars works - its all in the name of fun and my interest in Akademi Fantasia. I love to watch human emotions and how its is interpreted by different levels of individuals. So I'm just trying to give my own 2cents about it.
In here alone I've seen so much emotional outburst. I'm glad to say though everyone here is well-behaved, clever & educated with their words. Not like the senseless banter in some of the AF2 forums I've visited. Those surely brings laughter, but not long headaches will follow after reading the unsensible comments. And thats all because this years AF is sooooo spicy. Controversial will always be the one word I would describe it. Theres lots & lots of issues that can be brought up to be debated to dawn of day. But to debate it more will be just useless. All is done and over with now.
The emotional good-byes, the hugs, hand shakes & hi-5s I'm sure touched those who were "demam". The farewell speech from the tutors, especially by Korie was an Intimate moment. Oooppss! I meant a PREMIER moment *hehe* Its all plain to see that as much as the students are lucky to have such wonderful teachers, its the teachers themselves that felt privilaged to have been able to meet such a wonderful bunch of students who in many ways challenged them to bring out the best of their knowledge& experince to mold them into future stars. I'm hoping they would all still be maintained for the next batch of students. Ya'll agree?
Ok its a few hours for the concert. I'm not gonna comment on how the students might be performing their songs tonight. Lets just all wait & see. Till then, enjoy the show & dont forget to AFUNDI your favourites!
