Did you watch the end credits of Concert 8 last saturday? Do you guys noticed the look on Aznil's face? Well just incase you guys missed it, it was like a look of disgust and disatisfaction. And thats how I still feel. What a disgrace it was, seeing someone so talented, someone who has been improving and really determined became the victim of some foolish voters who would rather keep an undeserving student safe for reasons that is surely not based on her talents and improvement in the Akademi. This is not a personal hatred of mine for MAS. But its so apparent that this is a sensible opinion if you had been following how much LINDA has progressed compared to MAS. They are not even on the same level!
I actually dont even know how to start my review of the latest concert. One thing for sure its gonna be short. Some would agree if I say it wasnt so much of an improvement from the previous concerts. The group performance opening the show was quite refreshing and somehow promised a good show. Honestly, at this time of writing, its in the early hours of Monday morning. I've just had a long Sunday at work which I had fun doing. Anyways, like I said its in the early hours and I really cant recall now who was it who started first during the last concert! So I'm just gonna try and recall the performance of each student, not in the order they performed but in the order I would place them.
ZAHID - Another stunning performance. He is really giving his best and shows so much control in his performance. I think he met everybodys expectations about how good they think ZAHID can carry the song. I am surely satisfied. Period. A 9.5/10 from me.
KAER - A great come back. He has shown again why he is a strong contender to be reckon with. Its all just not about looking good as I'm sure he really wants to prove his critics wrong, especially Ms. Kudsia Kahar. I think her reactions when she gave her comments was just too much, as if trying to steal the thunder and made everybody rememebered that she had a big part in motivating KAER's performance that night. Which is hardly the case as anyone could see as KAER was given a chance to meet his family after his show. That hug by his dad has made a nation, or rather 2 nations touched and reaching out for boxes of tissues, which Premier would probably be hoping its theirs *hehe* Anyways, well done again KAER, if Anuar Zain said his hairs was standing on ends, then you can expect us to be even more impressed. A 9/10 from me.
FARAH - Yet again she never fails to capture everybodys attention with her powerful voice. Her pipes just seem to eat up any high notes given to her. And congratulations for putting Ms Kudsia, for the first time in this second season, in shameville. She has now got my full vote to be on the finalist spot. It would be another tragedy if she becomes a victim in the next concert. An 8/10 from me.
BOB - Not entirely performing the song he was assigned to but it is quite forgiveable. No one can perform Alhamdulliah on their own, not even Too Phat. ZAHID nearly stole the show backing up BOB but he was clever to just stand his ground and not got into the act. Its so amazing how ZAHID can perform his song so well and yet giving his best supporting his friends. But all credits to BOB, he really made it work earning praises from all the judges. A 7.5/10 from me.

ADAM - A rather week performance I think. It was rather safe and uneventful. The song aint right for him really. And same goes for his outfit. I'm sorry to say but I think he is one of my candidates to be on the evicted list, next might be BOB & FARAH. A 6.5/10 from me.
MAS - Quite a suprise to all that theres a tiny improvement to her show. The control of voice was there (minimum) and she finally, after 8 weeks, applied some of the things that has been told times and times again to her and of which the other students have long mastered. This little improvement, to me, deserves no special praises and does not entitle her a ticket to stay at the expense of the other students who had been showing improvement and giving their best since AF2 started. I'm sorry, but its all a little bit too late MAS. Again I acknowledge your unique voice, as pointed out by Anuar Zain, but its unfair to other students that you now command the attention to go to the finals. You took 8 weeks to show a tiny improvement and the finals is only 2 weeks away, I doubt it you can make a huge comeback. A 4.5/10 from me.
Inspite of my comments on MAS, its clear to all its not her fault that she still stays. Maybe people forgot to vote for LINDA, thinking that she should be safe. Theres a lot of maybes and possibilities that I just wont mention here, I think everyone would have their own views about why LINDA was voted out. I didnt watch Imbasan today but I heard Linda was praising MAS a lot and that she thought ADAM is the one next to go. Is that true? Can someone please elaborate to me a bit how the Imbasan went. I wonder why LINDA would say all that about MAS, is it just so that a fellow female Borneoan will be still be in a chance to grab the title? I think LINDA is just gonna add confusion amongst the voters but I doubt it her fans will channel their votes to MAS as I know they all blame MAS for LINDA's exit.
So we have to see more of MAS and I think we will see her till the end of AF2. The next victims, FARAH, BOB & ADAM. It will be a miracle if its actually MAS who will be voted out. I think its time to get ready and accept the fact that MAS has a better chance of going into the finals than those victims I listed or worst yet, ZAHID & KAER aint on the safe spot too! Arrrrrgggghhhhh!!! Now that would put me off watching the finals!
