Goodbye MAS..... Welcome back LINDA!

OK I guess by now, everyone is well informed of the above. A very happy result for quite a majority of people. I am a smiling bunny as everyone would assume, as you know how much I have wanted this result. Its a result full of justification. Now I'm really looking forward for the finals! Gosh I have so much to say and write about, I just dont where to start?! As I am writing this, its past 1am and I'm watching (on vcd) the part where ZAHID is being fed Cengkodok by Misha Omar! How bloody lucky can a guy get! I'm watching with tears of joy (and a lil bit of envy *hehe*) at this really cool suprise. I tell ya, AF2 really knows how to make a suprise! And all those praises from the critics and the rest of the AF2 tutors is just plain for all to see. What more can I say about him? I'll even dare say that he has the best chance of taking the AF2 winner title this saturday, he is just too good. I'm not being biased or saying the rest are no good, they are all really good performers but ZAHID is just an all rounder, a few steps above from the rest. Well done again ZAHID.

I think first of all I must apologise if this writing is all over & and not properly arranged. I admit I'm just full of mixed emotions. Mostly of joy and appreciation. Bulu roma on full alert! And I'm not even watching it live! I've just finished watching FARAH and my god that girl has a set of golden lungs. I've said before and I'll said it again, shes got power gillerrr in her voice. I think Misha Omar couldnt have reached those notes that she was belting! I'm very very impressed and I hope someday I'll get to hear her sing a Whitney Houston number, preferbably I Have Nothing. KAER is next. He is rising to the occassion and the comeback is getting better. His performance was solid. As much as I like him singing slow songs, he is just so good at singing up-tempo RnBish songs. Even Misha Omar was lost for words. A strong contender to ZAHID indeed. I just hope he'll be given the right songs for the finals. Oh Kudsia Kahar said he reminds her of Craig David...hmmm...well maybe just a bit, KAER has got a long way to go.

Hahahahahahaahahaa! I'm laughing out loud seeing Aznil impersonating BOB's Mesra chant. Aznil's definately THE man. I cant wait meeting him again a few weeks from now when he will be hosting a performance we are organising. Yes here in Brunei. Which performance? I'm not gonna say anything, other than stay tuned to this blog *hehe* Anyways, back to AF2 9th concert. BOB's performance was solid altho he did sway a lil bit on certain notes. Now this is a man has a good control over his vocals, sometimes too good that he gets carried away. MAS should definately learn from him. Misha Omar is probably right that he wasnt quite focus enough with his performance. But overall it was a really good, "suara emas" as Kudsia would put it.

ADAM looks soooo innocent with that hair-do! He looks so nervous though. But I think that was all gone when Pak Aziz Satar came on stage for his performance. Another cool kezutan that brings Adam a lot of confidence and it was easily his best performance ever, with vocals to match too! Those tears that came earlier this week surely is a thing of the past. He just needs to be brave next time, never to admit defeat without even trying first because he has got the vocals for it as the critics said. I think I would like to see/hear him sing more of those oldies song in the future.

MAS I should say exited the Akademi on a high note. I must say Aku Cinta Padamu its her best performance. A little bit too late to win more votes but atleast we can see finally that she is trying. She has still more to learn about vocal controls. She has the voice for it but somehow at times she is not listening to her own voice and cant apply the singing techniques passed on by Puan Siti Hajar. Like Misha Omar said she needs to make the effort to improve. MAS will probably do well in acting as Jalaluddin Hassan said, being a veteran actor, he knows best. I wish you good luck MAS, I honestly think you can improve.

And that was it. Easily the best concert so far and I regret not watching it live. A very emotional concert full of joy. The bonus songs were performed very well too, especially that Bollywood number. This AF2 students will be fun to watch performing together at a concert I'm sure. Rumours has already been going on saying that they're gonna be here in Brunei as early as October. How true is that, I dont know but I will try verify it for all. After The Greatest Love Of All, the voting was closed and the AF theme song was on. Those guys are really getting good with their dance moves, Cikgu Linda & Korie must be proud.

Ok its time for that formality now, the eviction part. A change in announcing the result. Another thrilling and nail-biting moment, if you were watching it live that is. I dont think I need to elaborate, everyone knew how it went. The suspense must be sooo intense at that particular moment. Sadness was surely the first reaction we saw on MASs' face but in only a short moment she was all smiles, probably to make it so not sad to her freinds. But I think at the very moment it came to her that she is gonna be with her children again, so thats the main reason for those smiles. Saying her good byes, we can see how much appreciation she has for everyone and like it or not, she has grown into everyones heart. MAS will always be the talk of AF2.

The annoucement made just before MAS exit the hall is another shocker. It was also another emotional moment, even Ramli MS was really trying hard to keep cool. AFMASUK winner is ofcourse LINDA. It was kinda obvious that she would be voted in although ZARINA was trailing quite close behind. So its all set now. The final will be a must-see event. This few days leading to it will be interesting to watch too. My question now though is how much percentage is LINDA gonna start with? Is it gonna be based on how much her AFMASUK is? I'm sure if thats the case, it wont be more than BOB who is curently in the last place. But then again, what if its more than the current leader ADAM? I'm very curious about this issue really as it could be another controversial one. Anyways, its nearly 3am and I really need some sleep for work tomorrow. I hope to see everyones comments soon.
